Made from Shibui, also called Tougan, (winter melon) raised and ripened in the Okinawa sun, we take great care and time in making these sweets. We use only the best parts of the juicy flesh from the centre of the melon. Sweetened with rich Okinawan sugarcane, Tougatsuke is a delicious treat. Tougatsuke is made from the juiciest, brightest flesh of the melon. Cut into thin slices and served cold, Tougatsuke is excellent with green tea or a sweet dessert wine. Keep Tougatsuke in the freezer to enhance the taste and texture.

As with Kippan, we use absolutely no additional preservatives or artificial flavourings, allowing you to enjoy the natural taste.
